Vision is an independent monthly  newspaper serving the City of Châteauguay, Québec since 2001. It is produced by the students of Howard S. Billings High School with the help of many partners. Start-up funding came from les Fonds jeunesse Québec and the McConnell Foundation. Supporters in the community have been the CMP Foundation, Civitan, and our regular advertisers. The New Frontiers School Board and HSB High School provide the generous space for our newsroom and classroom as well as office support and a Journalism Class teacher. Through this initiative the students discover their hometown and surrounding region on writing and photography assignments, and they share their discoveries with our readers.

The goals of this publishing project are manyfold, most of all to educate our young people on the vibrant world that exists outside the school, and to provide a medium for the free exchange of information within the English community and the Greater Châteauguay community.
